intoxication announcement

Postby speelyei » Thu May 13, 2010 8:14 am

after being basically a teetotaler for a few years, it's my goal to spend more time intoxicated this summer. I was watching Always Sunny in Philadelphia, wishing I was more like those guys... and the plan occured to me.

I made several 1qt Pina Coladas and Margaritas and froze them in Nalgene Bottles so that I am ready to imbibe on short notice.

I am drinking more, surfing more, and eating less. I think it's a good thing.

I am glad I had this public forum to make my announcement.

yes, this weekend I was able to drink some Tecate and Alaskan Ambers while I built my deck, and then I bought some of that Session stubbie stuff, mainly because I am nostalgic about the bottles. The memory of the Lucky Lager puzzles really bring back the memories that I can't really remember.

I don't know what happened to me. I can barely clear a six pack these days before I fall asleep. Bummed.
The service here sucks.

Thanks for the concern Smidge. I don't know about North Co, I'm in South Orange...and not sure boredom is the issue. I'm pointing my finger at old age.

Weird...
I've found that as I get older...
I can drink more...
I just feel worse now the next day.

My wife used to be able to drink quite a bit. After a couple kids she can barely drink 2 beers without feeling sick. Something that changed in here system while pregnant with #2 that never went away.

Got good and sloshy on this stuff while in 'Frisco for Pride Weekend.

I guess it's supposed to be marketed for surfers by surfers or some sh*t like that. Pretty smooth agave. I did a ton of shots after brushing my teeth and thinking I was gonna cash my chips for the night and it still tasted good when I woke up and did a few more shots for breaky.

I had the next morning launch last week...
I mixed red wine & IPA in unrecommendable quantities...
Then filling my van the smell of the gas made me retch...
That and the devilish mix still swirling in my gut...
The lady filling her car next to me looked horrified...
I felt alot better .

all night long sex on acid is one of the true joys of being alive...

agreed speelyi. substitute the alchohol for pot, acid, sex, and rock music and don't forget to mix some Kenny Powers (eastbound and down) into your "It's always sunny" persona (punch people, swear more, and be generally inappropriate)
Save the Seagulls.
