Ross Is. SUP race delayed to the 19th
Posted: Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:05 amThe last race of the Portland Ross Island SUP series has been delayed one week till Saturday the 19th.
High flood water of the Willamette has made the course too dangerous. With it still raining and 13' higher than normal, river speed at 2-1/2 fps, we had to make the call to postpone. Our starting beach is underwater and logs and snags surrounding the island pose a true danger.
Hope all can make adjustments in their schedule and come out for a better final. More info and photos at gorgeperformance.com
