This sounds like a good idea, but where are the details?

Any update on the PC park? Bend skaters need to know.

Tex, Hood River is very fun. Cross the river and scope out Bingen also. Its about to be expanded. Lets hook up and skate sometime. I'm not as much as twat in real life... honest.

Yeah, that would be a blast to hook up and skate.

Full disclosure, I totally suck and really have no business on a board, my boys both skate so I take them to as many parks as I can on the dry weekends.

Took my youngest down to Burnside on an early EARLY first light Sunday morning, guys already on it. We just watched.

Pier Park gives me cold sweats watching kids drop into the pipe.

i tried finding that park on the Washington side of Hood River...got lost but want to check it out soon.

cross the toll bridge, hang a right and its about 1/4 mile on the right in the public park. your kids might like cannon beach park and the nehalem ramp also. both are very chill scenes with mostly kids. bay city is great and always empty. lots of room for old men teaching their kids to skate.

here's mine at CB.

Is that ramp still up in Nehalem? I would have thought that thing had completely rotted away by now. I used to watch Tommy Innouye skate that place back when I lived down there.

We did check out the park at CB....very chill and my boys loved it.

I want to check that park out in Government Camp. Thanks for directions, I will go there next =)

We have also been taking advantage of the kids Sat. AM sessions at Commonwealth.

Have you checked out Lumberyard?

Very awesome pic....i have a Pilot, we could load the car with kids, bmx, boards and hit it up.

oops wrong direction to bingen. its on the LEFT if you're going eastbound after the bridge....

isn't the lumberyard bike only? i sometimes skate glenhaven on the other side of 82nd.

the nehalem ramo was re-surfaced last summer and is as good as ever.

Most embarassing moment at skatepark:

10 Yr. Old to Dad " Hey Dad, are you ready for me to teach you how to make turns on the ramp?"
(Right in front of 7 18-25 year old kids who all broke out in maniacal laughter.)

My response.... " Hell yeah son, teach me, let's do this!"

i wouldn't be embarrassed at all. but you're talking to a 38 year old who is still obsessed with a useless wooden toy.
