Snow stoked

Anyone taking their kids skiing or snowboarding?

My wife and I fully committed to getting our kids up to speed on the snow this winter. Older boy turned 6 around Xmas and the little guy turned 4 at the end of March. Got them both full shred setups but it became obvious quickly that at 3, the little guy was better suited to ski (I am now convinced that 5/6 is the age to start them snowboarding . before that skiing is the call). It took a little while to get them going but once they started to get it both kids flourished. It helps that we got them 42 days on the hill (about 30 at Hoodoo and 12 at Bachelor), but by the end both kids were cruising steep intermediate runs and the older kid is linking turns and asking if he can go in the park. They are full on stoked and cant wait for next year. Now to get them going in the ocean this summer.

Heres a few videos...

First one - a couple months into the season (March) at Hoodoo. Still pretty iffy (older boy is doing alot of side slipping on steep parts) but not bad (sorry for the shaky filming on a Flip):

Next one - a couple months later (May) and the kids are riding way better (sorry again for the crappy filming with a Flip):

Then I finally got a GoPro and took a ton of footage of them the last couple weeks but haven't cut it into a video yet so here's a couple clips...

Older kid. He's gonne have a huge year next year. Got a great base to build off of:

Younger kid (long but classic.. shows how distracted a 4 year old can get - haha). Camera doesn;t show it but this is actually a pretty steep run for a barely 4 year old:

STOKED! All right thats what Ive been up to for the past 6 months. See you at the beach!

No one gives a shite, but here's another vid...

First few minutes are of some fun pow at Bachelor....then it's friends and groms starting at 3:40. My kids are killing it for only being 4 going on 5 and 7. Then a bit of yours truly at the end... Good times for sure. Someday I'll surf again...

Alohas..
