Nice coverage? They sounded worse than those jackasses who call the Nelscot. Not blaming RC and whatshisname but MC's who can't even see the wave? The problem with big wave contests is they need to be called from a boat. Dude had to use goggles to even see the jumbotron (if that is a word)!

That being said, INCREDIBLE SURFING AND BALLS ON DISPLAY.

Awesome drops!!

I am a puss.
Wait...no I'm not. fuk off.

Looks like Chris Bertish is the man.

I like some of the comments going by...the best I saw was:

"meth reef goin' off"

Could say that about anywhere on the west coast. My hood's off to these guys - great contest.

Rouge wave exactly dude! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCLZ9Z3gJQ8 Now thats what I meant about nice coverage. The announcers almost got taken out! They were right there and the waves were sick. I really dont watch the internet surf contests much so don’t really know but that made it right there.

One of our own Oregon surfers was one of the four that judged the contest. He told me that is was the biggest ever paddle in event ever to date. One for the books...
