Got out to SS last night by 6:00.

Waves were definitely small.....knee to chest. Tide was incoming and filled in fast making otherwise fun waves fizzle out in the deep water.

Surfed first and second creek. Got a couple waves that lined up and allowed for multiple turns before dark. Surfed till 9:30.

I saw the same two deer today but this time I paddled past them and they freaked out. They ran up a washed out gully through the cliff knocking down a bunch of rocks. When I walked within a few feet of them on Saturday they coulda cared less, but I guess I looked like some mutant predator 30 yards away on my board.

A bit of juice in the water this morn. Even with the incoming mush it was setting up a nice corner pocket and some smooth straight walls. Shared head high waves with 1 other friendly visitor for a few hours.

I'll say. Sand is in the right spots at the right spots. Fun, shoulder high with only 6 out at the busiest. Why people go to the one spot or that other spot when the other other spot is working is beyond me. Of course, I'm sure there were some other^3 spots that were pretty good today too.

Surf was fun today...
Surfed in the crowd awhile...
Then paddled off to an empty peak...
Then drank a couple beers...
And surfed another empty peak...
While everyone was bunched up...
Then went to get my beer outta 3rd creek...
Stolen! My last Budweiser was gone...
Pretty lame.
