Back home and here, I seem to have good luck when its snowing- with the surf.

I'd snowboard more if I could justify the expense and putting up with the BS ski resort culture... alas... Surfing remains free...

Not to mention imagine getting stuck at Sylvan in this crap. Almost happened to me Christmas eve and the waves were pretty much shitte with east winds even.

I always thought it was just me....but yeah, it is total BS ski resort culture....never feel like I fit in up there.

Not just you. Hate giving ski resorts my money. If I had the time and resources, I'd love to invest in some good equipment and hike the back country but too many other things to get side tracked with at this point.

Should have surfed yesterday from what I'm hearing.

Whinny locals or whinny spoiled brats. About the same level of annoyance coming from different angles.

Thinking I might have to get my annual 'shred' on this week at some point though- just to remind myself.

Gottcha. My report was from one spot. But yeah working.....

Not one good peak to fight for. More of an open playing field on the Mtn. Found some nice solitude on Sun even with the crowds. Its taken 12 years to dial in some of these lines and some hiking is required.

My report came from a friend who has very rose tinted glasses but it sounded legit based on who he said was on it and how long it lasted.
