Scored an Oregon classic last Saturday. Paddled out a little too early in the wrong zone but followed the locs (and Smithg) to the spot after a little while. First time on a shortboard in too long. Fumbled too many but got enough to remember what its all about. Then I trashed a fin box in the rock zone. All good. Stunning weather. Must have lost 5lbs that day...

Can't blame you, Doc. I would feel the same if I wasn't there.

Took off work early to go surfing yesterday afternoon. The weather was absolutely beautiful.

Nice work dude! From my recollection that had to be one of the longest runs of swell with good conditions in several years including the last several falls. I was dry docked, but not valley rotted, high in the central Rockies carving the cord am and chasing the sun pm, livin dat ski in ski out life 8) Heard some good to decent repopos from buddies who figured out where to be given big tides and LP swell and heard some not so great ones at the usual sand bar spots. Saw some XXL tow and step off stuff on the gram  Despite missing the last week or so logged 5 days in January. Started with some very cold maintenance sessions on New Years day and ended with some warmer Juneuary ones during that pretty epic MLK swell. Looking forward to some warm water in da islands later next month!
