Perhaps. Looks like more of a wide point forward design.

Rawson calls his same design the Sniper.

Not sure the word fun and gun go together? Anyways hard to even think about waves that would warrant these boards in the midst of the peak North Pac off season. I really hope gas prices drop this fall.

On another note my new board is ready. Think I ordered back in late Feb early March? Hopefully worth the wait and price seemed fair for these days at 780 for a custom, with 5 boxes, rail spray, and a layer of 4 S on the deck. Other big name shapers are pushing over 800 for stock and then you have guys like CC pushing well over a G.

Nice score dude. 3 or 5 fin boxes? Questionable traction and placement.

Dims I'm thinking are 7'2" or 4" x 20 x 2 3/4. Would love to score something used thou as inflation has eaten up all my fun money as of late.

Yah no need for a pad. I agree.

If any of you guys are going to be in Newport let me know. Not sure when I'll have time to get down there and need to get my board to PDX.

Every time I take my new shred stick out it turns out to be a frustrating session. Cruise of new board? When will it end!

5'11" x 20.25 x 2.57 Beaked nosed single bump squash for tight old man shreds. Rails are butter considering flat deck and overall chonk. Tails a little thicker than I like, but overall board feels really loose and very responsive on the handful of turns I've made. Paddles and catch's pretty well, but its not my fish. Seems to want a decent wave. May need to be logged into Google account to see? If not, you'll prob see it sooner than later.

Nice lines on your new stick. Looks like a rad dad sled in the best of ways.. Have you ridden it as a tri or quad so far?

Tri. Trying to get in 80s thrust groove and stay true to design for starters. Will more than likely go good as a quad as I tend to gyrate towards quad setup. But like I said, two seshies in close outs and one with some clean peelers, but pretty slopey and weak. Hopefully a good one soon.....

Sounds great. But can't see the pics. I went for a similar vibe with Rocket Wide. Mostly surfed it as a tri but went quad recently in some punchier surf and it def reels in the control and gives it a drivier more solid feeling.
