I have a 2006 subaru outback wagon.

not big enough to just toss your longboard in. I have trouble with a 7'3''

I'd think a pickup is much easier to toss your board in the back.

i can fit a 9'0 in my wagon. (two if the fins are off.)

pretty decent mileage.....30-35 range on a long haul....if the pedal isn't to the medal.

i don't see it mentioned on your list.....

I had the Subaru Outback & Forester...
I could fit the 10'6" in both of them...
Tail first & skeg removed...
No passengers because all seats are down...
But rolling solo is best for everyone...
Then I could slide in a 9'6"...
A 9'0" and the quad...
When you go shopping...
Bring your quiver.

Of course a with minivan...
You just pack the whole shebang...
Problem solved...
In fact, I have surfboards in there now?

I've got an 09 Outback wagon and can just barely fit my 9'4" inside with fin. On it's side, back seats down, between the front seats, up against the dash. Might even be able to squeeze a couple more inches in (that's what she said). Who takes their fin off? What I usually do is transport the LB on the roof while the rest of the quiver is inside. Otherwise, nobody else can fit inside. If I go with one of the shorties, then I stash the LB inside. I took my LB with me to the dealership to make sure it fit.

late '80s subaru fits the 9'0 just fine. front seat reclined and board slides over the back seat and into the front foot well with fin. car's cheap as shite to buy too. turned over 180k yesterday and still charging.

I'd go for the lesburu, I've personally been looking at the Subaru Outback wagons/sport series as well. But also looking at a newer Tacoma, love those trucks..

Hello?...safety conscious and PC aware Volvo wagon owner here giving you the bro down on LBs and car travel. I can fit my 9'4" with fin down the middle with the back seat either up or down. There's more room if the board is rail up with the seat down, but there is the issue of having a true blind spot on the passenger's side. I did this once while driving through downtown pdx...not sure I'd do it again.

Personally I'm hot on 90's Japanese vans. Wagons are solid but a nice big juicy van is sick. If I could figure out a way to import a new one and avoid EPA regulations this is what I would get (also available awd):

i vote passet wagon... have had the last two versions both can rock 9'10'' logs with seats down and no passengers. or you can get up to two 7'6''s and one other sub 7 board in the back with just the back seats folded...

love it and if you can track down a tdi version you are laughing all the way to the beach.

I am a Subaru Whore and I know where my gas pedal is. My Forester hauls @ss, handles great,gets 28 mpg and holds three 7 foot boards inside with three pasengers. Take that Wilbur and Ceedog!!
