Had a surprising couple of days with some non-existent swell actually producing some super fun grovelers... Tried out a 9'10" Pig that was 'gifted' to me and immediately gave it a way. I'll stick to my over-volumed 5'10 baked bean thanks... found some great ice cream in nehalem, celebrated Go Skate Day in BC, PC (missed LC alas) and,
then i came back to the city to surf the SW hills with some new skills... stoke level 11
Rarely is it ever completely flat around here. If its glassy small kine, and you know where to look, and have the right board....... waves can be found away from the herds of summer sheep. Its the wind that faks us mostly in the summer, but not telling you anything you don't already know.
Image not coming through. Did you get a surf skate?
Looking forward to dialing in linking some backside and frontside together... little scary to learn but once you commit its not that hard... been on my bucket list for awhile...
Had a fun summer rolling around on my Lifeblood Coffee Cruiser with a fresh pair of OJ Super juices. Wheels are fast and make the rough of roughest ne streets butta. Drive way gutties for dayz.....
Yeah, those SuperJuice are great. Try them on a pump track if you get a chance. Huge one coming to Sandy soon.
I spent way too much on wheels this year. Both Powell and Spitfire have been messing with soft wheels that can break into slides. Pretty rad. I'd highly recommend the Powell Soft Slide Formula, Dragons and the Spitfire Soft Sliders.
Pretty amazing time for urethane. Not so amazing for the planet....
