you should wear a hat with an orange flag when you swim to that island. you might get hit by a wakeboard boat

yep fishers landing near mill plain.
I hear the boats when they're coming and usually egg beater up like a waterpolo goalie splash and thrash about till I'm seen.
figure if all else fails I'll swim down and hold my breath.
Luckily I haven't been out there when the barges come by...
don't think I could hold my breath that long.

Just about an hour-- If I have the lane to myself and don't have to adjust to accomidate others, etc... I can do it in about 50-55 minutes.

Thanks for the info, now I can speak 'swim'. Yeah, I have issues with hurting the shoulders occasionally, bizarre. Tends to go away fast though.

NMM. Have you ever barfed in the pool?
I've been wondering about this.
As i have started swimming, i've been doing around 1500 m. in about 30 min. Sometimes on the turns i cough stuff up. Just wonderd what happens.
Thanks.

um..........no.

I've had a few workouts/sets that left me feeling like I might barf. However.....in 15 years of competitive swimming & another 17 years of continued swim workouts......I've never actually done the deed.

(Of course.....I always swim on an empty stomach.)

Yoga rocked today! Not sure what my problem was......but I stuck every balancing pose. Maybe it was the acoustic Adam Duritz in the background. Maybe it was Wednesday. Go figure....
