If you live in Salem check out the Group Power and Group Ride programs at the Courthouse's. Alot of fun and keep you in great shape, Ive been going religiously for months now. Going to have to start hitting the pool again now.

how long have you been doing yoga nmm? How much surfing improvement did you see after starting yoga? I feel I need to start doing it, but just haven't yet.

I've been practicing for about a year & half. I'm not sure if it's improved my surfing, per se. But....I do have much better balance and core strength. And......my flexibility......would put you to shame.

There are many different styles of yoga to choose from. I gravitate toward a practice that involves a little more athleticism...... power vinyasa yoga. Here's a link to my instructor........he teaches at several clubs around town.

I took a 10 class series at the community center this summer. super cheap. it was good, but it's too early to see any effects on surfing. i only went one day a week though. I'm signing up for the fall series that starts next month. If anything, it's a good way to relax and forget about daily life BS for an hour or so.

Sort of off topic. sort of on.

A short theory on aging.

When it comes to aging, it seems that nature treats those kindly who have treated others kind.

Thanks, now go to hell.
