Help prevent injury and make yourself more flexible with Yoga. You can find a studio or do it at home cheap and easy - just like a lot of girls in seattle.

Kempo or other martial arts can be great for flexibility as well and do good in keeping you just below the aerobic threshhold - or well above if you choose to.

running can be OK, but if you do it too much your body may start eating muscle tissue instead of fat. It all depends on where you keep your heart rate and what you eat.
The problem with real life? There's no danger music..

Lots of rest for those sprints. (Too bad my sprint mechanism busted years ago.) :?

I usually like to start with about 10 reps and 2 sets of these in the morning:

then I take a shower and do a couple more sets

1 1/2 hours of Yoga on Tuesday & Thursday.
25 mile bike ride on Wednesday night.
Half a dozen doughnuts this morning.

had to get inventive with my fitness routine while wayfaring for a year, camping, and staying at various backpackers, friends houses, etc...

* surf

* abs - bicycle crunches on towel or mattress

* inverted pushups until failure with feet up on something waisthigh or more

* carried a small piece of knotted rope to loop around anything (branch, wall, indoor pipe, etc...) to do chinups with

* beer

I stretched when I woke up...

Nothing too strenuous...

Don't want to pull anything.
