Decide My Surfing fate

Postby Dinosauria, We » Fri Aug 31, 2007 10:29 am

I just sold two boards. I'm down to two. I want a nice little three board quiver. Currently I have a 6'4" Ewaliko quad that is way more versatile than I imagined and is fun from knee high slop to head + and a 6'10" rounded pin Bryan Bates thruster for when I'm pretending to get serious.

I'm thinking I need a middle range all rounder but I'll let the OSP decide my surfing fate...

9'0 performance LB from Art...

I dig that you want another quad but why? You have the thruster for serious stuff and you have the Ewaliko for everything else.

Let me make a short list of surfers who are unable to pull their longsticks off the roof of the car when winter comes our way.........

WILKO
N2M
SOOLOO
IL PROF
TIPPY
HONK

if you need someone to hold your hand, mebbe one of 'em will hang around the parking lot long enough to do so..........

Grow some big ones and take the plunge!

Though Slim is a dickwad, I do agree with him in this instance. Pete, you're not going to be a log no matter what, so quit fronting.

But stranger things have happened: I did see you wearing shorts the other day. Next time warn me to put on sunglasses please.

b/c i'm just like you and lack the imagination to think outside the 6'4" to 6'10" thruster box...

or b/c i'm bored

or b/c i'm feeling weird about selling boards i really liked that weren't quite doing it for me.

When you are 50, you may well wish you learned to longboard earlier in life.
