dude up there named toby was total prick the one time i surfed there. i'm sure karma got him by now, but in truth, it's something worth protecting by any means. however, this is the information age, actually it's post-information, and surfing as we knew it has been destroyed by that alone.
the first native americans were nice. then, they tried other methods once they realized how bad it could get, but the fukkers just kept coming and coming and there was nothing they could do. now, some are impoverished, living a life of addiction on a designated piece of shitey land. others own your backyard and your @ss too. god bless 'em.
i'm just glad i live hours away too. nice wave. ugly town. total a-holes (that are actually trannys) but they can have it. i surf good enough alone all the time. and it will remain so. if the point bothers you, don't go there.
