OSP-circle jerk: Board envy.

Whose board have you lusted after?

Currently, tippys ultra-hot Bing is at the top of the list, but that Spherical Revolver Sooloo is trying to unload is right up there, too. Remember the AB3? Somebody brought a whole vanload of boards down.... all those fat floaty wide 6' and 7' boards with a lot of fins? Evey one of those looked so damn fun...
The Wasabi was as good looking a board as has ever been made, and Null's home-built wood LB has long been an object of envy for me.

No help here, I'm dumping boards from my quiv. If I haven't ridden it in a year...it's gone. Sentimentality be damned.

Nah. That board has been in heavy rotation since I got it. Had one of my most memorable sessions with it on my birthday in NorCal this September with Slimvest. LOVE that f*ckin' board! :D

this is like readin the menu but eatin at home, mr grind. surely you have longed to carress the subtle curves of your fellow OSP'ers plank? Fossilgrom has a dangerously seductive rhino-chaser big gun that comes to mind.... some scenarios are better left to fantasy... like big wave riding...

Im not looking to bust up my happy marriage to my used, all-white, two board unsanded patch-job quiver... just expressing admiration for other rides on the showroom floor.

I don't dream as much as I used to. I just assume go and do it instead.

Don't mean to be a downer or anything, I'm about doing more with less and I've got more than I need as it is...continue to dream, please.

I'll jump in cuz I'm bored, on Oxycodone and can't walk.

There are a few boards people have that would be ideal for me if a few inches longer. SmithG has a Bill Johnson I sold him that was 6'0" ish.
If that thing was a 6'8" I'd be sleeping with it every night.

Gaz has a Larry Mabile fish that looks like a beauty to ride.
Not the butter knife but the quad fish.

Holddown has a 7'4" swallow tail by Art Coyer that I would like check out and could possibly replace three similar size boards I'm okay with but not super stoked on.

A few people have the Stewart Hydro hull. This would be my LB choice in my everyday quiver. A Hanson 50-50 would be my cruiser in the LB range.

That's all I want/need.

6'6" ish Fish
6'9" to 7'4" ish high performance big guy short board
Hydro Hull for performance LB
50-50 for a nice cruiser

Pretty satisfied with my quiv but Wanty has a GP longboard that is sweet and I've wanted to try Dub's quad stretch for awhile.

1985 quiver.
Note the boat too.
Lots of spots you couldn't drive to or access easily by foot back then......probably same today.

Take care.

You couldn't handle the butter knife!

The quad is a M.Caro, it needs a new set of fin boxes tho'..........

My 2cents...... Smither's hull and Wanty's GP...........

How did you end up with three longboards the same size? Nice quiver, though.
I'd third Wanty's LB with the inset wood fin and stringers. SG's black beauty would be pretty cool too. Then the gun Holddown got from Intrepid a while ago that he posted a pic of. That one more then any other cause it would mean that I was stepping it up to that level of wave.

This is a thread about boards you want.
NOT boards you have.
Pull it together Ding.
