Just like "vanlife" or "campvibies" these millennial buzz words or really hash tags in this social media age are completely cringe worthy.

Shredlife though...... sounds like a good way to set yourself up for failure once you hit the mid life curve. I often think where I might be if I hadn't put so much time in effort into finding surf and snow for many many years. Defiantly without arthritis.

That is actually a way better break down than I had hoped for. Welcome to the OSP where all five us can talk shite to each other... in a safe space...

I don't even think the cheese is shredded in my life...

Welcome, Howly! I'm Box. I know very little about surfing. I have no real wisdom to impart on anybody. But like a broken elevator button, I still keep showing up no matter what

Glad you're here and look forward to seeing you around.

Well done Howly.....and yeah the image is pretty dope. Glad you jumped in and joined our crusty crew. Looking forward to all your surf reports, I am hoping for at least 2-3 per week, thank you very much.

What was the most remote spot you ever surfed? Where is your go-to spot? What kind of board are you shredding these days? Where did you learn to surf?? Who is your fav all time surfer besides Ben Gravvy of course?

Woah! Fresh blood! Welcome to the shite show. I'm X-squid, my screen name being an obscure reference to my younger life in servitude to Uncle Sam's Navy. I've been on a dry spell for a few months due to life events, but will be remedying that tomorrow morning, regardless of conditions.

I know the dude you're talking about at the Cove - Crazy Larry I think his name is. I only hope I'm that stoked at his age.

X-

I am heading out with my 12 yr old at dawn....hear it is going to be massive low tide. We will be there around 6:15.
Probably check some spots south of Seaside and most likely end up at Shortsands.

Ended up at PC - was really fun from 7:30-9:00 and the wind turned it to shite.

Hi.... yes we are still on the island - we live in Ucluelet and yes, still with Paul - 15 years and counting. No kids thank goodness. We never wanted kids and are still glad about that decision... How are all you guys doing? If you are ever out our way, message us. We should go for a surf.
