Wed: Inside desperations with SooLoo
Thu: Inside desperations with SooLoo and sniper man
Fri: Outside desperations solo. Surprisingly big backside drops.

Five fun days in a row, but it's over today.

Here's to hoping that conditions are manageable next week. Off work for the week, and it is time for me to return to the water.

I walked that way too today...
8am check lowered hope pretty low...
1pm recheck made it lower still...
The drive south was full of surf sorrow...
Walked down sans board...
Saw the only place on the coast (I'm guessing)...
That was relatively smooth...
And pretty soft...
And getting sunny...
So ran back up...
And got the new Jim Phillips single-fin...
Some interesting cross swell...
Caused lumpy A-frames...
Some were just a peak...
That didn't do much at all...
But every now and then things would line up...
Caught a couple chest high screamers...
And a couple that connected to the inside...
Where it was sucking up and hollowing out...
Moved in there as the tide filled in...
But sketchy on a 9'4" intactness-wise...
But way better than I expected...
Which was pretty much nothing.

Wilbur K-------------Just go for it. Your fitness, stamina etc. will come back. Just go for it Bro. Your "Ole Lady" will be turned on and your waistlline will diminish as you yield to the "Inner Child" True---------You'll get your a$$ slapped, kicked etc. by Mother O the first couple o' days but you will have gotten back on the bicycle and things will eventually even out. Confidence will come back. Knowledge of the Ocean will come back. And your Ol' Lady will see a bounce in your step that makes those two little lap/yap dogs of yours run and hide under the bed. Ya' get my drift?
