...of the new Surfer's Path has one of the larger photos I've ever seen of you know where in a publication. The caption is great. It reads:

"I've got some good stories about this place, but out of respect for the codes of surfing I'm not going to say too much, except that it's probably the best wave I've ridden backhand. Oh, and it's the stomping grounds of the heaviest locals I've encountered - EVER."

Yeah, and they're all stoked on the exposure too.

Funny stuff-- I've written for TSP and TSJ and both editors have asked me to write on that wave. I've said categorically over and over again, NO PHUKING WAY. I do however like when surf journos say, "i'm not going to expose, but here is a where it is and it's super sweet, just look at the picture!"

I'm not concerned in the least. For lack of more eloquent words, it ain't no secret. The locals hold it down out there well. If somebody wants to test their luck, by all means, proceed.
