life. loved and lost.

Hi, by now some of you may have heard about the rescue attempt and suspension down in waldport on fri/sat. as of now, it looks like the male is lost to sea and wont be coming home to his wife, 12 year old daughter and 18 year old son.

he was a friend of mine. its his birthday on 9/26.

the sea is a mean b!tch. while we're out enjoying waves, lets not take her for granted.

the next time i go out into the waves, his spirit will be with me, us. please, next time you are out, say a few words, send some good vibes to his family. think about your loved ones, and how precious life is.

This is sad. I haven't heard the story, but drove through waldport on Friday night and saw a lone emergency vehicle on the beach near the rivermouth. It looked incredibly forlorn. I'm sorry for your loss.
