I've surfed that spot...
Years ago now...
Never at 10 feet tho...
Only at waist to chest high...
At that size the right breaks...
Only about 10 yards off a rock shelf...
So that if you blow it...
You or your board get crunched...
Never felt comfortable surfing there either...
Figger it was the balance between...
Munch & Crunch.

yeah, i noticed that one a few days ago and promptly wished i hadn't.

I got that spot at around the same size, doc...once.
Been by there a few other times and even waited it out for several hours in hopes the tide change would open things up.
I'm still waiting for my second chance.
