Thank you- honestly, THANKYOU to everyone who posted on my thread(s) and for all the great information in the archives. I have been missing surfing in Oregon for close to three decades- that's long enough. I never thought I would ever get a chance again, so thank you guys so much and I promise to stay out of your way and not make anyone regret ever helping me! After looking at lots of boards on CL and all the shops, I ended up buying this one new at Cleanline. Dave

TEX!! That shape is the bombest!! Exactly what I was thinking of and dreaming of, but couldnt find and couldn't articulate to shapers. If you saw the picture I drew from scratch and sent to Shuler, you would freak- it's dead-on. Congrats and nice choice!!

Tex, what's the fin set up your getting with this board?
I've had a few different channel bottom boards and it's very important to be able to play around with different fin sizes, rakes, foils etc. And position of the boxes is crucial to the success of this board going good or not. Those channels look pretty deep. Would be fun to ride with no fins.

This is the fourth custom board I have from Wayne, the channels look really extreme at this stage in the shaping process but they do mellow out significantly once the board is completed as evidenced above.

Nice, I had that same fin set up in one of my old boards. Loved it.
And yes, a little glass and dem channels will fill in quick. Good point.
