There's some good info posted just inside the door of the "Oar House" as well. A public park that includes a Skate Park of smaller scale on property located just south of the Cape. Property was donated.

Panic over?

You still worried The Moment is taking money to finance their 'surf team?'

Oh I never panic over anything. I haven't seen any adds for the year's contest. I started this thread to see what I could find out. thinking maybe someone who frequents this page(all 5 of them) might fill me in. This contest is always pretty successful and has been since it's creation by the Ledbetters. I wish it continued success. Was just down there this AM in fact. Decent surf for a longboard contest and beautiful PC weather.

I did see the Architect's rendering of the skate park. Pretty impressive. If they can fit it onto the land that was donated. I'm all for it. It would be a "win-win" if PC could get a nice park with a skate park as one of it's components and keep the County campground. knowing the community at large is involved makes me feel much better. As long as it's not my money, I'm all for it.

It won't be my money and I'll be all over it. Anyone seen the results for the Classic?

Pretty much the usual suspects. No big upsets.

Former OSP trouble maker and all around bad boy Sailing Surfer/Tequila Sunrise (and other handles I can't recall) was in the first heat of the 50 - 59 y.o. A true blast from the past when the board was hopping....

i just waxed the curbs in the south lot so all the children can get busy with slappy k-grinds. wear down those indys to the axle, so the moment can make more money selling trucks. its a conspiracy. street skating, that is. ask peralta.

The only conspiracy i smell here is your attempt to sell more sanitary knapkins.

Don't think the County Park is the best option despite the cost of camping has become ridiculous with the reservation fee they initiated a few years back.

Honestly the City of Tillamook would be a better location for a large skate park in this area and would provide access to a larger number of youth given the annual population vs. Pacific City's seasonal tourist population. Not to mention many of the visiting youth from the valley have access to skate parks on a regular basis.

Now how about an artificial reef in the cove? Honestly cant remember the last time I had a half way decent session in PC. It seems the recently construed condos on the bluff have cut off sand transport? Who knows.

Who knows when anyone will have a decent session in PC. Best left to Gary Hopez and his flowing locks of radiant silver
to answer that one.

Your right! once in awhile it goes off. The masses never seem to hit it just right because they can't get it to fit their schedule. Good comments on skate Park locations etc. Thanks. Lowel
