I got some Friday - not spectacular but a bit of sun and no crowd. Man, I hadn't surfed SS in quite some time; storms this winter destroyed the south end of the beach.

Great week. Racked up 4 and found some solitude. Super sonic spring break snake session yest. Although I wonder how many folk were actually on spring break. Feeling like this is just the new norm. Waves were gooood though. 2 seshies for 5+ hours of water time. Clueless drop ins. Prison stance woblers. Hand flailers. LB hogin. Peps sitting just off the channel in the middle of the inside barrel section. Dudes rolling out of faking Sprinter vans 4-5 deep. Please. How do peps even afford those beasts. PDX $$$$ must be good these days.

Feeling like spring summer's gonna be off the charts crowd wise. Best to keep your locations on the DL esp if you're on to something you don't want to share. This aint no funky reggae party.

Surfers from the valley love to sleep in....first light is usually plenty open.
Weeknights are fairly awesome too but getting more crowded over the years.

Just saw that Timmy vid of OR you posted...pretty badass.
His video of WA was even better....that spot is a TON of FUN.
