yeah ok, i'll give you some of my hard earned money so you can open up your land-locked boutique shop. maybe i'll throw in a few extra $s so you can take a vacation from the shop you opened with my money. when you get back you can tell me what tail shape works best at the point, over some coffee while we look at some shitey thomas campbell rip-off art. i don't really have much love for surfing beyond actual surfing these days. let's not pretend we are some big happy family. we hate each other and we hate seeing each other. we get in each other's way. we feel entitled to our share of waves and f@#K everyone else. its the shittiest 'subculture' out there.

You don't see any skateboard lifestyle boutique shops, that's for sure.

COSUBE? Cold Water Surf? What is this?

What about a home for the Cosplay community? You know where I can put on my Wolverine costume and go have a drink with a bunch of other Cosplay heads. Now that sounds like the Portland I know. Surfing's for aggro jocks. Nothing weird about it.

It's a kinder, gentler scene, man. Don't you know you're not even supposed to call people off your wave anymore?

Very wishful. The things that have passed were things that made pdx a bastion of living under the
radar. No longer the case unfortunately and irreversible unless we nose dive the economy and people leave in droves.

We're due for a recession... been 10 years.

We're due for an earthquake been 100's of years coming and we're now within 50 years plus or minus.

And then a potential WW3.

Glad I didn't pay half a mill for a 100 year old house an hour and forty from the beach. :P
