Looks like Kelly is building another wave pool right next to the one he already has in Lenmoore, CA....google images shows construction going on now.

Lets build one in PDX....seriously.....no joke...who is down....hello???

Let me die a slow painful death first. It will feel better than surfing a 'wave pool.'

Ok, thanks. Thumbs up (yr bum).

Apparently Slater is in Bend right now eclipsing and rumor has it looking for land! I would assume scoping a location there for a future wave pool. I could see it happening there before it did in PDX. IME the aloha runs strong in Central Oregon compared to PDX. Must be the all the sun, smiles, and stoked shred scene.

PDX is so engulfed in growth issues and should focus on fixing its bike infrastructure to make it safe. There was another cyclist fatality in SE yesterday. Bit of a shitt show these days.

Cool to hear about Kelly in Bend, probably hanging with Jerry!
My idea is that we build the pool out behind the PDX airport....take advantage of the hotels and get tons of people to visit.
As a former bike commuter in PDX, I am always pained to hear about fellow cyclists in car accidents.

Hey Smithgrind....remember Wally? I talked to him about a wave pool in Oregon....he thought he could get some investors on board if we built it right.
