Open OSP invite at pier park. I skate there most weekday evenings-- look for the guy in the seaside hat, slamming over and over and taking way too long to land his tricks.

For the record, I looked up some of doc's old posts and see why you all miss him. The man has an all time posting style-- a weird mix of zen koans, sly humor, and deep surf insight. Glad he's out there somewhere, living the dream.

We need invites to skate Pier these days?

The good doc is quite reserved in his manners and holds vast amounts of wisdom. The waters run deep here. He can often be found in a meditative state, perfectly trimmed on his 10'+ Skip Frye Eagle, unraveling the mysteries of the world and musing on how cold his beers will be when his session is over. Nah and anyone who tells you otherwise is a cop. Invite is for Howly Wolf's Unimpressive Skateboarding Comedy Hour-- a spectacle of failure. Watch in awe as I slam on easy tricks, get frustrated repeatedly, and attempt to ingratiate myself to the kids these days by repeating my story about how Bam Margera once yelled "You suck, fat @ss" at me from a moving vehicle. Show has a zero star rating on Yelp and not even my girlfriend makes time to see it, so no need for advance tickets. Not particular about where I make a fool out myself, so venue is flexible if an OSP skate/surf assault happens somewhere down the line.

Doc, Wilbur and Betty contributed some amazing content over the years. Wilbur just knew how to press everybodys buttons....kind of like Ol Blue!

Would love to watch you all hit Pier Park, I never learned how to skate really, my kids can do it alright so I was doing a lot of park tours over the past 5 years.
