Gonna hit the central coast tomorrow and Saturday. Looks like there's some potential if the wind behaves.

Good luck... pretty fickle time of year for that zone. Looks almost flat by Sat AM. North coast has been going off all week.

It's a hustle out here for sure. Most people that move here can't cut it, and the ones that do struggle with the cost of living. Second homes, and real-estate conglomerates seem to be the main culprits. Kinda like a shitey weather Hawaii. Plenty of deadend jobs. Not a whole lot of living wage jobs. I love it out here though and I hope I can stay for the rest of my life. There's always something if things get too dire. Pretty sure I'll get the position I interviewed for. Just wish the waves would co-operate with all this free time.

Which leads to todays on topic non-surf report. Only place worth checking today sucked. Gonna make a new medicine cabinet for the lou instead. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll see X-squid around.

ML nailed it actually. I would love to live in PA or Joyce but my kids would most likely become meth addicts.

Kids ruin surfing, I know that now firsthand. Snip and tie if you don't want your surfing to die.

Had a decent session today. Lazy morning, made the wife breakfast in bed, discovered the cat pissed on my wetsuit again, but decided to go surfing anyway, checked the wrong spot, checked the right spot, washed the cat piss off in the rip, caught some rights, caught some lefts, hung out with some mates on the beach, came home, argued with my thirteen year old, drank some porter and listened to Dead Moon real loud. RiP Fred. We're all going to run out of time at some point.

She is 15 months. I held out as long as I could so I really shouldn't whine. It's hard to teach an old dog
new tricks and parenting is full of tricks.

Good news is that there's not going to be much surf in the foreseeable future anyways. Bad news is that I tweaked my MCL on a nothing wave. It was already tweaked from a month ago and I never gave it the time it deserved. As I was wallowing in self-pity, thinking of having to set up an appointment or whether I should even bother, there happened to be a knee specialist checking out waves and he checked it out for me. Figures it's relatively minor for a knee injury. Although all knee injuries are potential game enders. So not going to rush it this time that I got lucky. The funny part was while he was recommending the typical 800mg of ibuprofen twice a day for such injuries and he paused before finishing the sentiment and looked at me like he just saw me for the first time and added, "of course that's only if you don't have any issues with your kidneys." It's always good to receive a reaffirmation. Broke my code :)

Look at Shane Dorian for inspiration. You could raise the next Coco. Been considering a pre-emptive snip. Not sure if it'll make much difference cause I seem to be constantly injuring my self any ways.

Dane Reynolds just had twins. You crybaby dads need to snap out of it. You don't even have a teenager yet. Get back to me when you're dealing with that sh*t.

You're right, Tex. The park consists of work, my house, and riding my bike to and from work. It's easy doing the same thing
over and over.
