I could hear air going in and out of the puncture....it was so jacked up. I was at a party last night, the noise on my ears was so irritating, almost left after only an hour but my wife convinced me to stick it out. I think I need to get my ears drilled.

These boots look interesting.....

Almost grabbed a pair during Seaside Surfs end of the year sale, but they didn't have my size.

A former OSPer gave them a go on Saturday and didn't like them. He said the fit was a tad loose in the width
and the sole was too insensitive. I don't see the point if you have to wear socks with them and you do since the
foot mold of the booty isn't lined. Seems like a hass...

I found an ebay seller with some very reasonable deals. If you know your brand and size and don't
sweat getting wetsuits via delivery, chances are you're gonna score hard. His feedback is stellar as well.

Not I. Interesting idea. Bailed on Xcel 5 or 6 years ago for my primary suit and been on the ONeil Pyscho Techs as posted here in Nov 2017. Zipper closure with button. Current suit has gone through 2 winter's now but will most likely need to replace come fall. Durability has been great and was quite toasty last weekend with the sun and butter glass Sat AM. May be time to bust out 4mil....... May entertain some Japanese rubber for replacement if a deal is at hand.

Good timing on thread resurrection. Need new boots left mine on my tire and drove away after all day beach post (and roast) up. Any reason to change things up after rocking Hotlines the majority of the last 20 years? Pretty thick soles and not the best board feel but durrable as hell and last me 3 or 4 years. Xcell Dry Locks? Those dipped boots aka Rip Curl Rubber Soul? Or Sollites custom molded boots?

Dry Locks are great but aren’t all that durable and that goes double for the dipped Rip Curls. Felt like I could’ve torn one while pulling it on at the shop. I panned the Solites last year. I’m still a fan of the O’neill heat booties, time tested and still the best value for your $.

I've had great luck with Drylock booties. Super toasty, comfortable and durable. Only had one dry lock wetsuit. It has the magnet and is holding up well.

I have only been using Ripcurl....got my first suit back in 89 and never found the desire to try any other brand. Maybe one day but kinda doubt it.

Vans has come to the market with a surf bootie. Looks like they have gone with the "dipped" tech. Only 3 mill thou, but guessing we'll see the boys of summer sporting them in the mediocre mush once the sun comes out and swell dies. Given how fashionable Vans have become, wouldn't be surprised to see the a-typical eastside Portland fashionista sporting them in the city. 80 bones puts them up there with Xcel Drylocks and Sollites, which seem to be the most expensive booties out there.

Hyperflex——- Best suits, booties, gloves for the money. They, vet been making wetsuits longer than O’Neill for conditions harsher than the Northwest (Washington/ Oregon).
