Yet best time to buy one...... One of the better rolls of boards I've seen. OG Lost RNF, a cheap and apparently newish 6' Quiver Killa, Pavel Speed Dialer, an assortment of Campbell Bros Bonzers, and longboards in Lake Oswego, etc. Wish I had money to burn and more time to suuurf.
Absolutely a solid wave of used boards lately. Saw some interesting vintage offered up in Bend as well and was stoked to find a Shuler wookie (w/ all accoutrements including wax) at a very reasonable price-- sadly the dims were a little to ambitious for me. Since I'm resigned to the fact that surfing will send me to the poorhouse, I'll probably hit a labor day sale for some gloves.
Funny; I don’t usually post Craigslist East of I-5, but maybe I should. Have several Shortboards on Craig’s now for $250. They were last years models pulled from a shop in LC that can’t sell anything but tourist T’s. New, 5’8 thru 6’2.
Board of the week cause its like 3' in Nov brah. This one would go good with some size too and fill that mid length niche in my quiv. Not a deal at all thou........
Kind of a neat mid length here. Specs fit the shape quite nicely and price seems reasonable. I dig the beak nose too. . Would’ve appreciated the poster putting as much effort into describing the board, as they did in compiling “key words” but at least they scraped the wax! A quick google shows the label’s out of New England, making it a unique find for this neck of the woods. Not really a fan of the name “sealove” but maybe I’m insecure with my masculinity? Perhaps I should talk to my therapist (aka any surf shop) about that. In any event:
2 bones for that Von Sol is tidy. I've always liked that shape and it's perfect for the waves here in the pnw. Shine those fins though Von Sol makes the quad stiletto fin set designed for that board.
Sean Matson, think that's his name has some good realistic designs. He also designed the "nubster" fin. I've found most boards based on SD beach breaks translate well here. After all the fish design was born in SD. I've wanted a round tail low end SB for a while now and there was a 5'8" of this model that poped up on the CL used board feed. His Manta model get praised as one of the best grovelers on the erbb. Also believe his default tech is EPS.
