Perfect decor for that half-a-million $ + house house you just bought 78 miles (plus gridlock traffic) from the beach.

"Crazy craftsmanship went into making this thing. The original company marketed it as being surfable, but I think it's more of a decoration."

I found a dirt cheap 6' 6" round tail, almost a no-brainer for just how cheap it is. I don't have much knowledge in the gear department, I've ridden a banged up single-fin, the 9' 6" log, a weird 7'-8' fun, and wavestorms. I'm 5' 8", I go down the line with some style and loaf a few turns, I'm not throwing buckets or getting the fins out, is this thing going to be fun? A boat? I'm at a point where anything is better than nothing, but thoughts?

Without pics, dims, or a description of the shape its hard to know what you got. If its a classic thin and bladed out step up with a lot of rocker, not going to work well. Really only one wave that warrants those type of boards and why you see them so often on the used market. Coming from a LB, I'd say like a 6'8" performance egg or maybe a 6' quad fish or some type of hybrid board. If you want something closer to a SB maybe an oversized 6'2" Hypto Krypto type board? Tons of options out there these days.

Edit: maybe something like this. Could even go 6'6".

I think you want the balance between being able to duck dive on bigger days and float.

Did some Googelin: https://vimeo.com/507932747

Looks to be ridden in standard SB lengths perhaps? The equation is muddled up here thou. Seems like it'd be a fun board for same conditions my mid has been liking, with more HP.

Funny cause my standard DD SB used to be like 6'6" or 6'4" (2.5-2.75 x 19.5-20) and they weren't steps. This was early to mid 90's. Then things changed when RNF came on the scene.

Bored the other day and did some trollin.

Me: Good looking board. Interested, but have not jumped on the twin pin train. Just got my 1st midlenth 2+1 and fun board when the conditions are right for it. Any reason you're off'ing it? Looks like it's mint?

Seller: This will rock your mid-length. You interested?

 :) :o  :?
