Kook Cam Gondo

Postby Major Lazer » Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:02 pm

Well after months of Surflie claiming technical difficulties with the Cove cam in Seaside, it appears it is finally gone and no longer embed into the Seaside surf report page. Not sure what happened, but surprised it even lasted that long. Back to the Lani cam I guess, which well sucks pretty bad esp after having access to that HD Surfline cam.

Heard? Thought that was your go to? Swell direction looked good! Backs on the mend, yet not quite there and prob wont make that mish this season.

Don't think I've missed much around here, but last Thurs and Fri looked good. Guessing Bouyheads been finding good windows. Hoping to be close to 100% when we finally get that classic mid winter HP window with sun, easities, and pumping LP swell.

Fully admitting that my weekends have been consumed by Seahawks games....we were on a little run, it was fun to watch.

Woulda been better to watch in state, no??? Some waves then football at Clallam Inn or Breakwater? A little to late for the Hawks on Sunday...... now we have to listen to all the Sconnie tranies that seem to have infested N & NE. Not a Hawks fan by any means, but cheese heads are an annoyance of their own right. Guess they'll be lining up clad in their Packers gear at Saraveze come Sunday.

I am not a Pats fan although quite a bit of family members are. Born in the Mile High City and lived there until I was 6, so gravitated towards the Broncos for a while and then it was the Skins during their heyday. In all honesty, my 28 years in OR and Cen Nor Cali now dwarfs anytime spent back there, although I do hold a hockey team of my youth quite close to my heart and cant wait for this new Seattle NHL team. I'm a casual football fan at best who tunes in when things get good or on those dismal winter days when there is nothing else to do. Typically just like to see good games and would of loved to see the Hawks come back against the Pack. If I am to root for a team, it's usually the Ducks or even Beavs the later has gotten my money more recently in the form of post grad continuing education.

Interestingly, I have no memory of being here for a long time, so the post above from the 11th is ... neat.

I heard that Seattle is not going to announce their team name until March now....bummed. Vegas Knights just canned their head coach....WTF is going on this year??? My youngest dabbles in hockey and I have had a rooting interest in the Canucks but only because they were the closest to my home town.

I have to agree, Kraken would be my fav at this point too. At one point, I was pretty stoked on the Totems. I would love a name that appropriately reflects local Native American heritage but not sure we will get that. Some journalist from the Seattle times was making the case that the Sockeyes could be a contender.
