I was a subscriber for many years and have more than a decades worth boxed in my basement. That said I dropped my subscription over 10 years ago. Dropped TSJ about 5 now. Print is dying, although I still like to read print books. Anyways end of an era.

I got the most recent issue. The Winter issue. They dropped to quarterly awhile back without notice. Pitiful issue. The last two or three issues were politically driven. Which is not the reason I would buy a Surf mag. They were losing advertisers in droves. I could say more about the whys and wherefores but no need.

Only surprise there is that it went out before the WSL. Kind of a trip how the gatekeepers of surf industry are floundering at the same time wave riding is reaching unprecedented popularity worldwide.

I gave up on them years ago when 70% of the magazine was just ADs.
