I duknow...... I've seen surf films straight sell out. Legend of Nelscott (Forse's film) at the Hollywood, line down NE Sandy, and sold out. One of T Moe's films also brought out a large crowd at the Clinton from my recollection.

Yeah, you're probably right... just hard to wrap my head around surf films being an event these days given how much footage is available online. That said, I'd be all in for a showing of the new doc "Spoons". Previously unseen Greenough clips on the big screen? Yes, please.
