This coming Wednesday will be two weeks since I last surfed. It was a small east wind day at a beach break. The water doesn’t get any colder. And I can surf any day. I got a new wetsuit. At this rate it should last me five years.

When it snows or almost snows on the beach and in the valley for that matter, I typically ride the white waves. Been 6' to 12' offshore and a pumping point break all month with heaps of good vibes. Have had some of my best days in a decade mining lines that have taken years to figure out. Knowledge I kind of forgot I even had honestly. Shorter drive, seeing some old friends, and a change of scenery has been quite nice as well. But that's just a matter of opinion of course 8) A pending kitchen remodel looks to kill any surf time I may have this Spring, so hopefully some butter conditions and decent swell like we had last month and typically get this month will lure me back sooner than later. Sha Ka :D

Great Pics ML but you failed to tell us exactly where those white lines are so consider this a hand slap lol.
Wanty asked if I wanted to Moderate....I said sure but didnt know when it would be considered official.

With great power comes great responsibility as they say.

Glad you scored ML, sounds like a super fun session!

Ended Feb with zero surfs. Will have to look back on past years data, but I cant remember last time that happened outside on an injury.

Was frothing to get wet so I kicked out of work early yesterday afternoon and headed out to a popular spot north of Newport for a session. It was about an hour before high tide. I haven’t gotten in the water much this winter and, man, it showed. Paddle fitness is pretty much zero right now. Struggled in just about every area.

But got some friendly smiles from the handful of other heads out in the water and it sure beat sitting at my desk at work. There’s no bad days in the water, etc… etc…

They reopened the local pool here recently. If anyone needs me, I’ll be there swimming laps.

On an odd side note, I saw someone walking their dog around the lot with a leash. But you know, not the dog kind… Make do with what you got on hand, I guess.
