Surfyears 2021 Resolutions

Postby Major Lazer » Mon Jan 04, 2021 2:00 pm

Surf oriented resolutions or goals for 2021? New boards? Trips etc.? Typically shoot for more days in the water, still need to tally the 2021 days off my surf calendar.

Yeah I'll probably get down south to Oregon a couple times.
maybe sometimes next month for my birthday. I'll be 40. Yay.

HBD. 40. The good ole days. Went to the sand bottomed points of southern Oaxaca and was quite pleasant. One of my 2021 goals is to get out of the country to a warm water point break 8)

End sessions with a decent to good wave in. Finding I surf myself into exhaustion and often end up getting a close out or even worse belling one in.

Blue- congrats on 40, it is a really interesting decade and I am sure you will thrive in your mid years!

2021
1. At least two surf trips with my jr and his surf pals which are posting daily from the coast. I want to drag them around to less crowded nooks and crannies in the NW.

2. 5 trips to the sojd.....found a reef that seems to be getting lit up more than I have ever noticed over the past 20 years up there.

3. More longboarding, I expect that in my 50's the longboard could be a useful tool in the toolbox.

4. More trips to central/southern OR

5. No weekends???????
