Being a bigger bloke with big feet, I like stiff boards and i like heavier glass jobs. (Usually go 6/4/6 S cloth on my poly boards.) CI thought it was a good combo for me. Maybe not... I totally took a few risks on this YOLO purchase as for once I had the means to do so.

too late now, just checked the board tracker and its at the glasser.

Now that I think about it, the EPS tech was all S I believe? Something magic in the Stretch build though. Never had SpineTek, but have looked at some used ones and the decks were pretty dented up. That said a dented up deck usually means board doing its job flexing and springing out of turns. I went 4S/4E/4E on my current poly. RN S on the deck, but tempted to switch it up and go S on the bottom. Pressures on the bottom bug me way more than deck.

EPS tech was a mix of S and E, I think. At least the CFT is. Stretch Construction is amazing.

Buzz gun should have the next level up glassing I would think? Forget what it's called? An 8'6" thou you better be charging Nellys  I always wonder who buys those boards outside of mafia. Padillac's and what not and where they are surfing. Last few weeks and month has been insane thou and well foam is your friend!!! Pretty sure they surf a bit longer than actual length. I thought about a 7'2" for while back, but again those days seem so rare now at least for me. As for strength of CFT. Years ago back when it was called EPS Tech leash broke at infamous OG Fletcher 4 bounced around on the rocks until someone grabbed it for me. From what I remember just scratches. 8) How long is you Rawson? Looked pretty long?

I think it may have been an El Patron. Maybe a tad more pulled in. Dims seemed a little narrower than some others I have seen. 7'10" x 21.5 x 3" but real nice rocker, rails and foil. Got into some well overhead waves with ease and turned on a dime. Was an eye-opener for sure. I'm tempted to order one for next winter.

As for the rocket wide squash... yeah really a DD, to take over when the groveler gets left behind, so yeah thigh high to a little OH. Its advertised as a step down but seems to have a decent range and not something I'd consider a groveler. I'm aiming for bigger dude performance board. These days if the surf is lack luster i'm going for a super high volume, wide tailed quad and if its pumping I have no shame in going 'fun gun' 7'+ boards.

oh I scored a free log in Baja also... got to do some repairs on it but stoked to finally have an LB in rotation...

That one looks good CD. Like teh looks of that wideish squash tail. Have only seen swallow version.

Tweaked the dims on my long standing order, bumping volume to match my 34.75cL Ghost. Was able to push it through turns and bury the rail in boardies and volume felt good. Coulda been the waves too? Shooting for quiver in range of 35, at least for SB and fish.

Tried to change my order again, mod to fin box color from black to white, and got denied     What was I thinking, white boxes just look best on white board. Maybe with black rails :?: To much time to think about this board..... this custom thing is always a process  Good news is board is getting cut :!:

Just get some crazy glam fins and no one will notice the black boxes on white board.

Done buying fins. To spendy and not within my pay grade these days. One reason I haven't picked up a twin......

Pretty easy to find a deal on fins. But yeah, regular price is insane these days.
