Thought I saw something about some Chinese made fins for cheap and decent quality on the erbb? I did have to pick up fins for my mid and Jeff ordered me some at cost which was nice. A nice perk of going the NP route. Other than that between a set of AM2's, a 5 fin Hayden set, and a FU Stretch set I am set. Def not a trustafarian like The Ruke. None of us here are....... maybe I'll pick up some sets from him next time he opens up shop and clears house.

bRAH, if fins are the reason you're not giving boars a go, you've got the cart before the horse.

As much as I would like to pick up twin fish or something of the twinny small wave ilk, cant afford the horse rn. I'll be in SD for a week in July, so perhaps a YOLO off the rack at Birds or Album or something if I can clear some debit. As for the cart, I know a lot of people are throwing twin plus trailers in thruster set ups. Not sure how that would go in 80s style thruster, but that's the only board I have to test that set up. For the mid I think I'd need some big uprights to do the same in 2+1. Anyways that's 2 more sets of fins, which equates to 4 or 5 nights accomos in Mex so....

Looking at the forecast I am thinking I need a LB sooner than later!

I'm leaning towards heading in the opposite direction...
Thinning the quiver in 2022...
Purely theoretical at this point...
Although 2 boards are almost certainly being repaired and distributed...
Feels weird.

I'm hitting the road with a piece of shite LB very soon. Pretty stoked for shite waves and loosing the board to the rocks.

If ya need a repair guy I'm fairly handy with the cloth and resin. Would trade work for a summer loaner. I've had LBs just never outright owned one. Been storing for friends and what not.

Looking forward to new stick and been eyeing some others on the used market, but man I think were in store for a long late spring and typical summer which isn't motivating me at all other then selling. Things seem to be really slow on the sellers market as well? Maybe when the weather turns?

Only been a week and has there even been any surf? Local reports via the doug fir wireless have returned piss poor to straight up grumpy responses. I don't think the sent bro reports and pics of pumping tropo surf helped  That said, once the sun comes out for more than a day or two, I think the market will heat up even if its flatskis.

Sure. Actually a pretty good story. 3 or so days into my Kauai trip, my buddy decided to put our boards on his rack vs. in the back of his pick up to make a little more room for his dog. He's always a copilot, a big guy, and had been a little cramped the days prior. So that evening he tied the boards down for a planned dawn patrol. He may have been a little buzzed and in hindsight I should have helped him considering he typically throws his boards in the back and his strap was kinda shotty, but he just did it. So early that am pre dawn en route to north shore from east side, all of the sudden we hear a PA-PING! and I know right away what had happened  So we pull over and sure enough 3 out of 4 boards were gondo. So I run back up the road noticing headlights thinking oh shite I'm gonna get an earful or worse a crack....... when I get there a Hawaiian brada had blocked the lane horizontally with his car. 1st thing I say as I get there is "I'M SO SORRY!" He then pointed over to the guard rail where he had kindly moved our 3 boards out of the road. I said "THANK YOU so much" and he reached out and shook my hand with a big smile. True Aloha! Board were in bags and coulda been worse if they got run over. Luckily my Ghost had a very minor crack in the glass on the tail which was easily sealed with a hot coat. The tail on the RDR was another story and took some time to repair once I was back.
