There is no location specified, but since I live in Oregon I am assuming this is where I would have to body board or snowboard.

If that is the case, snowboarding hands down. The Cascades offer world class chit. The water's cold and surf is just not consistently good enough to body board. Now if it were a tropical local, my answer may change?

I think skiing or better yet snow bladeing would be a better comparison though.
