Serious Question Prt II

Postby Foul Pete » Mon Oct 16, 2006 6:31 pm

Almighty God comes down from heaven and says your surfing days are over but you can choose to replace it with one of these two substitutes only. What will it be?

I prefer my H2O in the liquid state.

I've seen bodyboarders stand on their ride. Plus..........year round.

To much clothes involved with snow. You can barely get slippers on me, let alone those big heavy boots. Bodyboarding is pretty much the reverse duckdive right? Gods a jerk.

What a sh$ty question, how do you choose? I think I would prefer a warm day at a narly beachbreak, but long turns in fresh powder is just as fun. I guess it depends on where I'm at. Can't leave the water though, even if it meant.., uh.., sponging.

God gives an easy one for a change.......the earth is 70% water, much of it warm.

Sponge you are missing the point. The elimination of ones ability to surf is supposed to be devastating. If Petey had intended for there to be a positive outcome he would have included skateboarding or proctology in the poll.

Riding a Paipo board is essentially bodyboarding, right?

I'm in...

Snowboarding, not so much...too many shoulder slings and such...

Im a born skier. Snowboard a little. Surfing is just a new love of mine when I moved to Portland a few years ago. Im getting ready for the winter. Got my pass already. But, on the crappy days at the moutain, I'll be checking the report on the coast. This is the greatest part of living in the northwest!
