Don't matter too much to me, but if it's big, solid, steep and barreling, I prefer lefts cuz I can actually get barreled on my front side where my back hand barrelling is pretty crappy. But if it's not too heavy I don't care, I like both....
So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

I like backside barrels. Especially small tight ones.

I've been working on it more and more, it's sketchy though especially cuz with all the rights I've been surfing and trying to backside barrel, nearly all of them are rock bottom and reef setups, as there aren't really any beachies in the strait. It's a lot easier to pull into a wave when it's sand bottom as opposed to barnacle encrusted rocks. Rode a few in the tube on my back hand but never made it out yet. one of my goals for 07 though.

Yeah....that is true. You do have to be careful of barnacles and other hazards before going blindly into a tight backside barrel. I usually check them out real good before hand.

True..if I am feeling really frisky and wearing a thick enough wettie...I'll go for it.
