I did stand up on waves before they broke and road them down 'the line', they just tended to be a little gutless in this particular place.

Its been a couple weeks and it wasnt surfing - bobbing, freezing shivering bait is more like it. The 2 a days for a month in Hawaii is still keeping me going, but I need some quality waves soon. Maybe this weekend.

EDIT: Paul, nice post brah!

I haven't.., sob-sob, been.., sob, in so long. Thanks for helping remind me Stiff. I tried to go a few weeks ago but Mommy wasn't cooperating. I think the last decent day I had was when ya'll had that LB thingy in Newport.

Wednesday and it was shitey.
So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

Yesterday.

I was way undergunned. Ended up getting rolled, lost my board which jumped back in the fray and finned me real good in the calf. Cut a 3 inch gash in my wetsuit luckily just a scratch on my leg but gave me the charlie horse from hell and my leg siezed up for few minutes. Went home and took out the sanding block and dulled the leading edges of my fins. Gonna try again today. In fact, think I'll go see what's happening now.

Seriously? If you're into sanding fins down so their not too sharp I'd look at the trailing edge as well; usually the sharper of the two.

In my opinion sanding fins so their not sharp sounds like a bad idea.

The sunday before last was killer and at a new spot. I knew back then that it'dbe a while with school starting back up and incoming storms. Today as soonas my partner in crime gets out of class we're heading out livin out of the truck canopy til' monday. Just as I can't stand another day away providence comes through but at the price of any comfort or warmth. It's going to be cold.

They are still sharp and plenty hydrodynamic - just not knife sharp. Still gonna get a bruise but hopefully no blood. Ya I lightly touched the trailing edge too.

seems like yesterday -- but it most certainly wasn't.

Feels like tomorrow.

Sunday..

.. and I really really want to go this weekend but I can hardly walk.. This is by far, the worst flu/cold I have ever gotten in my life! Stuffed ear, headache, stuffed nose, dry lips, chills, sweats and the runs! For the first time in several years, I think I'm going to be watching videos and confined to my bed this weekend!

Any suggestions on what I videos should rent?
