@ss surfers (kayaks) are no big deal. the only time i have ever seen them out, they can only manage to go straight to the beach and play in the white wash. No turns, easy to just go around

Gotta agree here. Anyone with a piping hot pizza sitting shotgun has got some right of way.
There is an exception. IF that f*ckin' pizza has any goddamn pineapple on it then I hope you never get out of the parking lot. That is a moving violation of all that is pure with pizza.

I agree th GAZ.

Its kind of funny since so many shortboarders kind of get this "well you are on a longboard" deal going on and somehow feel deserving of calling waves for themselves and getting pissed off at others. Of course if they were half of the shredder they thought they were they would paddle out to the take off spot, over the rock boil, and take off where the rest of the people catching waves are. All the while they might learn that, yeah, I might be on a long board but that wasnt a longboard drop...
If that doesnt work and you see someone paddling in under you while you are up why not fade them into the white water??? Simple. Effective. And your excuse could always be you were just surfing the pocket.

Shoulder hoppers though.....

just snake everybody and shoulder hop all you can. that takes away having to worry about etiquette and all that drama. My shortboard has a special compartment so I can pack heat if some mooks wanna bring up rules.
turn em. burn em. drop in.
