Been meaning to pread the Pumphouse Gang but have found other books by Wolfe uninspiring. But back on the list it goes.

How is that in any way suprising? The coastal indians really got the shaft from the whiteys. Many communites were built that way. Think the white people were the only ones that knew where good locations are? Good for them these few casinos figured out a way to get something back.

You call McDonald's and running water getting the shaft???? Man, you need to learn some priorities, if it weren't for us they wouldn't even know what a #4 on the Taco Bell's late night menu is...

Oh, oooops! My bad. There must have been mention of Buffalo Burritos or something since they went to willingly.

just finished rereading cryptonomicron by neil stephenson.... two stories who share the common theme of code breaking and getting rich in south east asia... I could try and write something long detailed telling why this book rocks but really if you are interested in the big ideas behind cryptography, the origins of the computer, world war 2 and their connections to the modernday world then you should enjoy this book. it is fiction but enough fun facts and observations to get a person interested enough to start reading some of the actual history.
upgrade your grey matter, 'cause some day it may matter

Collapse by Jared Diamond

Interesting but nothing that a person with decent rational deduction skills couldnt determine. Would be good for the Govt leaders to read.

Good for Dad's, a little obvious though. I like it because it reinforces my belief that boys should exhibit things such as aggression and other behavior that fell out of favor with the demascil.., uh, I mean PC movement.

Next I will reread one of my favs, Sometimes a Great Notion by Kesey.
