It's probably better than the Eugene weekly.

The Surfer's Guide to Baja - Mike Parise
Boardriding is about timing and style...It’s youthful, active, casual, and free flowing. There is no wrong way to ride a board. The goal is simply to learn, progress, improve, and give it your own interpretation.

Have you read it before Gills?

Been browsing through the North American Storm Riders guide, courtesy of WC. Funny when you read someone else's take on spots you spent years riding.

The Enchantress of Florence, by Salman Rushdie. Best quote, from Akbar: "...This story is taking too long..."

But don't bother looking for her, she's either moved to Bend or Big Island, depending to who you talk to. She's definitely not currently residing in Waldport. Tidewater, maybe...

I think StormRider got it wrong about Florence. They either encountered a grumpy local on a bad day, or their sources had been talking to new UO students who arrive fresh each fall from you-know-where with their bad habits and cookie cutter wank boards just in time for the conditions everyone has been waiting for all year.

They must have taken their 'south side locals hate you' sign and vanished.

Just read The Road, no surprises in that book, but still a good read.

Well, at least they haven't bothered me for the last couple years. Maybe it would be fun if they did...

Though it’s rarely used, the word used to reference half a computer byte is a “nibble.â€
