Somehow ended up with a recent copy of Men's Vogue. Hadn't previously known it even existed. Actually made me feel ill. I think Al Queda/Islamic Jihad could effectively use it as a recruiting tool.

Not that I'm advocating such...

Thats pretty funny chit MT. But I'd hold out for 'Men's Redbook' if you want recruit a organizational wing into the mix.

I'm reading Trask right now, taking a break from Sometimes a Great Notion.

Lots of cool Chinook jargon.

google 'cultus klootchman' and click on the first few entries and see where it goes, pretty cool homegrown historian sites on early Oregon settlement. Doc, you'd dig this stuff.

Finally started reading In Search of Captain Zero by Weisbecker. It's better than I expected so far.

Pretty good dissection of how people don't necessarily vote their economic interests, and a depressing reminder of why I couldn't stand most of the people of my home state.

The book is still relevant to this election cycle.

Finished 'Captain Zero' and will search out 'Cosmic Banditos' soon. Started reading 'Fast Food Nation' and am halfway through it. So far it mostly only reinforces what I already knew about the industry. A good read so far.

yeah. that one was better than "zero", but i'm more into non ficion. (even though i think "zero" is kinda non fiction)
the part about the ore-ida guy is pretty interesting.
that book should be taught in schools. but you can see why it's not.
