I wanna see a movie with Slimvest in it.

It came out in '97. It was a short called "Bushdiving".

More recently, I passed on the project linked below because the role I was offered just wasn't the right fit.

For those of you interested in Slim's porn career, just google his porn name--- "Slim Dimples"

Oh, joke all you like, Gills, but Bushdiving was real. It wasn't porn. It did win my dorm's short film contest though.

No,

I did, however, see a silver pony-tailed surfer on the KGW news tonight.

that sharkwater film looks really good, i'd like to see that

-North Shore
ok i saw it. you should too otherwise someone might make fun of you one day

-Surfers Journal-biographies-greats of women surfing-margo (godfrey) oberg
good half hour section on the brief history of women surfing and then a very interesting half hour about margo
recent interview with her is great-she is a joy to watch surf/listen to and seems full of life
talks about how she had it easy compared to most girls because she was like a little sister to the guys
focus is mainly pre-beachley/ballard era, put together very well.
i love that vid clip of margo both arm paddling over a wave and passing the water blurred camera (what a cutie!)
(i think they show it 3 times on the whole dvd and its in many other fliks)
really good and colorful surf art in the credits and on special features

-Puerto Underground 4
heavy waves, good music, great surfing and surfers, beautiful women...plenty of short n sweet commentary
focus on pros, the breaK, the groms, the locals and the way the place has changed over the years
is that laird on the SUP? looks like him, wipeouts on an sup in PE look extra dangerous
great footage of nearby "secret" spots, special features are worth checking and have some great men and womens lb'ing, the movie is most/all sb'ers.
listen to a gaggle of people tell you its the heaviest beachbreak in the world, includes graphic footage of will dillons nasty gash in the side

im still in awe of how Dave Ogle gets those crazy guys to pull into 10' tubes on their LB's. Most of them dont even come close to making it out. just alot of broken boards.
say it!

yeah, the sup footage is as bad or worse...watching someone get closed out on while riding a sup in a close to stand up barrel just makes you cringe

not to mention the shot of the sup pearling horribly on a meaty drop, launching rider over the front and itself 10 feet in the air

Bra Boys. Netflixed it and saw it last night. The history of the town the Abberton's grew up in was really interesting and the surfing was pretty good. The one thing it seemed to really lack was any detail whatsoever as to what happened with the murder and what Koby's involvement was. Couldn't figure out why they didn't present counter views or what people speculated might have happened.

I agree it was a good flick, one of the better surfumentaries I have seen. Better than I expected.
