i just saw a bunch i had yet to see, of 5 stars...

100 ft Wed-4 stars-real fun to watch, put together well, exciting, great music, nice they included varied viewpoints about tow-in

Zen & Zero-4.5 stars-great movie, highly recommend, excellent music, mood, story, surfing, cinematography...spiritual look into surfing through journey to find weisbecker

A Drift-2 stars-mostly too artsy and boring for me but with some really nice lb'ing on big juicy waves (but not enough), i'll give it a second and third watch since i bought this one and it may grow on me...

Faces-3.5 stars-good lb'ing movie, good music, good waves, movie didn't have a lot to say but was fun to watch

Big Wednesday-4.5 stars-well, yeah....i'm very glad i got to this one, still havent seen north shore though (gasp) and lots of other classics

You are just now watching Big Wednesday and have yet to see North Shore?

Come back when you grow up.

'Searching For Tom Curren' the only surf flick you'll ever need to see.

I've never seen North Shore. It just seems..... well, I have just never felt the urge to see it.

i know, i know...too much surfing and not enough movie watching.
such a tool.
heres the ones i recently consumed:

the right coast (east coast surfing)-mostly small weak waves, all one style of shortboarding
annoying music, bad story that didn't make sense or go anywhere, boring

surfing hollow days-i liked this, it was a little more corny than other movies i've seen by him
and i'd already seen a lot of the footage elsewhere
but its well worth seeing

blackwater-can't wait to see the sequel, great music, footage, lots of story and very documentaryish
still had lots of good surfing showing the place big and small
cool boat accidents, stories etc...

one califoria day-excellent music, really well put together, interesting, engaging
varied styles of surfing/surfcraft, some real amazing stuff
captures cali well, makes you want to go there

If you're at all intrested in design, this is a pretty good film.

I watched "A Boy & his Dog" the other night...

A word of advice...

Don't watch it with your 11 year old daughter.
