Octoberfest-style beers:
Personally love 'em.

They're a great throwback alternative to the over-hopped stuff that all the micros are so in love with. We get it -- hops are cool. But jeez...

Aiyinger Octoberfest great, more like food than beer.
Sam Adams actually has a decent one out, but limited quantities up here.

I'm looking to sample as many as possible.
I love this time of year:
surf - weather - college football - kids in school - O'fest beer - mmmmm

You said it Stink. Sept/Oct is great. But its hard convincing the wife, I need to spend as mush time as possible surfing fall waves, skating empty bowls and drinking Autumnal beer before the winter shut down...

guinness in the can says to "pour it in a glass".
that's stupid.
but, i suggest it should be almost ice cold.

Grizz, unless it is coming in draft form, Guiness can only come out of a can with a widget. Bottled Guiness is crap.

While I'm here.

Pumpkin and beer = not a good mix. Even though its Autumn... no thanks.

I like some pumpkin beers on cold/windy/lazy afternoons.

Guiness is supposed to be drank at room temp I thought.

yes, ancient yeast! (somehow 45 million years old)

anyway, Budweiser America ale: close to a standard amber; little bitter, kinda dry, and what to expect if budweiser brewed an amber.
yeah, OMG DRINKING CORPORATE bs

For the most part, I quit drinking about seven years ago

not because of any idealism mind you, but because of a stomach disorder, I couldn't get through a whole beer without puking
